How we came to be

Advansis started off providing IT services to small businesses in Miami in 2006. Back then, it was mostly fixing problems with clients' PCs, installing printers, and what not. As time went by, we noticed that although what we were doing was important, we also saw an opportunity for growth in several different areas in terms of services we could provide to clients. We started focusing on Web Application development to augment our clients' ability to offer more services to their clients while maintaining low costs and utmost efficiency. We also partnered with several market leaders in key segments such as SMS gateways, e-ticket delivery, data recovery, and various development partners to name a few.

One relatively new yet important facet of our consulting practices has been Green I.T.; where we have been assisting customers in leveraging different technologies to reduce paper consumption and power consumption. Working tightly with LEED certified architects we also give input into an office layout while it's still on paper. Green I.T. is quickly becoming a critical part of business practices and also a social responsibility to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Advansis takes this seriously and we are constantly on the lookout for better, more efficient and greener ways to perform tasks. Simple things such as reusing paper, going completely paper-free, placing lights on timers, all help in reducing CO2 emissions.

Green I.T. is quickly becoming a critical part of business practices, can you lower your carbon footprint?

Our founders come from a technical background with plenty of experience working at Blue Chip companies. Some have co-authored technical manuals, others speak several languages, others program in several languages, some taught classes on HTML and Java for companies such as IBM and The Microsoft Network, all of which, when put together offer your business a higher level of knowledge to pull from! All of us learned to program the old fashioned way, using a text editor and typing away, which also gives us the flexibility to go into programs and make sure they work as intended. Our certifications abound and memberships to prestigious organizations such as the IEEE Computer Society show how much importance we put into our work.
